About FMA Atlas
FMA Atlas is an independent directory for Filipino Martial Arts schools, created to make Kali, Eskrima, and Arnis training easier to discover by location, style, and lineage.
Phase 1 keeps listings free and moderated. The business side is intentionally separate: school owners can request custom apparel and gear conversations without turning the directory into a paid listings marketplace.
How ranking works
Same rules for every school. Ranking cannot be bought. When your location is available, results are ordered by distance. Otherwise they are ordered by completeness, then name. Tier 1 scores 0–39, Tier 2 scores 40–69 and Tier 3 scores 70–100.
- Claimed and verified: 25 points
- At least one weekly class: 20 points
- Three owner-uploaded photos: 20 points
- Owner-written description of at least 300 characters: 15 points
- Full street address and map coordinates: 10 points
- Head instructor and lineage: 10 points
Listing, verification and ranking are independent of gear purchases or association membership. Verification confirms ownership review, not teaching quality. Listings come from school submissions and public school or association sources; corrections and removal can be requested through our legal contact.
